I love beer
Puff piece...
I love brewing my own beer at home. I take it very seriously. Long live the independent brewery wildcatters!
As always in the US there's no limit to the lenght that the big corporations go to overcome the small but thriving local businesses (in this case beer breweries).......And they really use every means necessary to achieve their plans.......I'm glad to watch how local cummunities participates with one another with every step of making beer in this case.....Someone supplies barley or similar grains.....someone grows hops......many local residents work in those breweries and farms and other facilities.......I mean everyone benefits from this symbiosis........And then a big brewery tries to enforce their product into the local market with every means (lobbing, influencing local government, persuading local market owners to buy their product rather then local brewers who were supplying them for years, and so on.....)......So sad......I would rather see the local community to thrieve under local management and selling local products over the big corporations (who in most cases totally destroy local communities in every way imaginable)......I wish for every small brewery to succeed and keep local community strong
Hello. I am developing an app in this space and think the community might enjoy. I am curious to connect to view my deck and let me know your thoughts? Could be some great collab opportunities.
For real "culture" you should at least mention Belgium with the most varieties of beers, starting with Trappist beer, made by monks centuries ago.....
"Chinaman"? (48:10) You think that's ok to say?
Yes. It is perfectly acceptable.
Firma f. Brand Wylie Lindberg 1340
Loved this movie/documentary. Awesome!!!
What's with the Chinese racist bs around 49:00? Chinese women inside there? That's some f up sh.
Send them pilsners to Mihigan
While the earth remains: Seed time & harvest will remain.
I love beer so much...cheers
Beer is life - especially imperial stouts
The greatest beer I have ever had is the one I have open at that moment.
Aaaaaaah beer, no wonder I've been loosing my mind, haven't had a drink for the last two or three weeks, maybe I should get a job 😆😀😃
Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-american, please.
My dad often says "Beer is beer," and I think this video just helped me articulate why that statement doesn't sit well with me
Maine now has more breweries per capita.
Great, 55 minutes can be over so quickly! As Ahab says: "It's no coincidence that beer rhymes with cheer!"
Why’s everything in Colorado? And we have no such laws in CA and craft sales here are very strong, no local stores have gone out no lost jobs nothing of the sort If anyone lost out it’s Big Beer with half the shelf space on average to craft, it’s why they did these lame super bowl commercials criticizing CHEERS
I want a beer watching this
It's really funny how hickenlooper started out on our side, then sign the 197 bill into law. Then stole a bunch of money from CO.
now is 2020,hows the update of craft beer.business in Colorado?any vacancies for Indonesian?:D im brewer here...my country is terrible place for alcoholic drinks
Yup, all those jobs left due to democrats and Obama.
25:00 Bunch of leftist morons. 36:01 Nothing to do about who owns what or how big or little. It's about fairness. These crooks just spinning, knowing those ancient laws of the 1930s are obsolete. The ignorance is about your ignorance of fairness in the laws. These Brewery are selfish greedy monopolies.
47:42 "America this", "America that..." Yet, they bought their equipment from those great American Chinese communist in China! The hypocrisy.
Now that beer has become trendy among liberal well-educated affluent sophisticates, in other words, profound idiots, it is almost enough to make me want to give up beer.

Just wanna pop in and say whichever lobbyist made the PR campaign video, I hope they didn't actually get paid for that, it was the biggest piece of trash I have ever seen. Put in the effort
THATS Awesome!...thats Common sense Dave ! ...and I agree!
Lol love how they actually produce the 4th most beer in the states
Good to see a fellow Argentinian making beer! Would love to try it now!
They called it "New Belgium" as in New york? That's awesome! We Belgians don't take pride in much except our beer ;) Feels like a tribute ❤️ keep on brewing boy's!🔥 can't wait to taste those beers
Sidny New Belgian Voodoo Ranger IPA. Good beer. Good bottles for my home brewing too.
I'd rather have a beer with a bud light drinker than a craft beer guy.
A lot of the craft beer drinkers are also the budlight guys. Source: am both. We're just chill people looking for good food, good beer, and good people for good vibes. The obnoxious stereotype is disliked by even the community they're part of.
10 years ago I would have disagreed ...BUT now YOU are Right!.. Many of these "Craft Kids" are trendy DICK-WADS..I still enjoy CRAFTY BEERZ...but I HIDE in my closet when I do ;-)
It does make me sad that New Belgium has now been sold to an international Conglomerate.
0:56 - If you don't know who this man is, you are not a homebrewer, I don't care how long you've been at it.
Bere drinkers have fat bellies but makers have none
Wow, as a brewer watching this now what has happened? Sick and tired of flavoured beer and NEIPA's. Give me a pale ale or pilsner, stout or barley wine. Get back to tradition which works!!!
Worst Toxin on Earth approved by the masses = .... Alcohol
Would’ve been a better doc if it wasn’t so environmentally pushy and cringey.
Then it’s also your responsibility to not sell your beer to Safeway or king Soopers.... stay in the liquor stores.

Turning water into beer, it makes me say Cheers!
This is a true, short story I tell when I've had some bottles of Adnams Broadside.... I was only a kid of 20, when I had a typhoon of a relationship with an older woman going by the name of Fanny Avabit... -. In Britain a 'fanny' is not a back bum - it's a front bum! ... Now, Fanny had previously got involved with a blind, deaf and dumb trapeze artist called 'Lucky Jim'.... Things were not going well... He was beating her and using the most foul language to describe her 'vittles'. So, on one fine morning, she decided by Malice Aforethought, to murder him! - She managed a near perfect murder, and was released without charge! (Into my Strong, Manly arms). In the case of the police and courts Fanny Avabit could not be tried twice, due to the double Jeapordy laws.... But when I met her, fresh out of the courthouse, I (myself) tried Fanny Avabit once, TWICE, 3 TIMES AND MORE! - So, now, many years later, I tell folks that Fanny Avabit Was tried twice, - And my, my, was it Nice! Back Very Soon. S
The audio blows.
beer and french fries are vegan
Prost
I newer understand why some short film producers, want to add music in the background and forget that we need to hear dialogs not loud music, good movie poor sound mastering
All the local talk and they buy their equipment from China. They then make insulting remarks about a Chinese man and Chinese woman being smuggled with the equipment. My family vacationed in Colorado when I was a kid. We have family there. While I was away in the Marines my parent's left New York and moved to Colorado. I have never lived in Colorado, but I used to fly for a small airline and went to many cities in Colorado. Two of my sisters and their kids and extended families live there. I never heard any of them make remarks about foreigners like the snobby, hipster, Microbrew jackass in this otherwise great documentary. I have lived and worked in China. Their country is very different than ours, but the people are not very different. While living and working in China I had the opportunity to experience a very international beer experience. I even found that many of the American brands, such as Budweiser and Pabst Blue Ribbon that are brewed in China have a much better taste than the crap they brew in the US. My local Walmart in China offered six different versions of PBR, all brewed in China. My favorite was the Pre-WWII Lager. The packaging has US soldiers on the label. It is actually a very good beer. I have great enthusiasm for the Craft Brew Industry. I remember visiting my younger brother's friend's brewery in our Long Island, New York hometown of Patchogue. Two homebrewers established the Blue Point Brewery in 1998, and I visited the tap room and was blown away by their beers. Their beer made to 16 states, but one of the conglomerates made an offer they couldn't refuse. Everyone I have met in the craft brew industry, except for one jackass in Memphis, is down to earth and open and honest about their beginnings and their love of the craft of beer. Someone should edit out the remarks about the delivery of the new equipment arriving with the smuggled "Chinaman," and the "Chinese woman." Liberal Colorado should know better.
I don’t see how letting bigger stores sale beer will hurt. If it’s a chain store within multiple states it could help expand their product. I think some of them aren’t looking at the bigger picture
I'm drinkin on a Juicy, fruity IPA and dreamin of brewin my own...
